She presents with progressively worsening shortness of breath over the past two weeks, accompanied by an 8-pound weight gain and orthopnea.

She reports a dry, non-productive cough that has persisted for one week, worsening at night and three days of chest pain and fatigue. She denies having any fever, chills, night sweats, upper respiratory infection (URI) symptoms, or episodes of syncope.

Physical examination findings include tachycardia, +1 bilateral lower extremity edema, elevated jugular venous pressure (JVP), an S3 gallop, a displaced point of maximal impulse (PMI), and bilateral lower lung crackles heard on auscultation.
