iHuman Case Study Week 8 (60 y/o with Painful Rash) – The patient is a 60-year-old unvaccinated male with a history of childhood varicella who presents with 6 days of linear, vesicular, 8/10, burning, slightly itchy rash on an erythematous base on his left thorax, made worse by light touch and minimally better by ibuprofen. He reports environmental exposures and denies fever, purulent discharge, or other areas of rash. On physical examination, vitals are stable, and there is a linear, vesicular rash, with some scabs, without purulence in the left T5 dermatome, with no further spread.
