Beth Brown iHuman Case Study (16-year-old female with frequent severe headaches) – The patient is a 16-year-old female high school student who presents with increasing frequency of severe headaches which now occur weekly and last up to 15 hours. The headaches appear to be somewhat triggered by junk food, decreased sleep, and chocolate. They appear to be preceded sometimes by visual disturbances especially when due to lackof sleep. When severe, other symptoms include nausea, sometimes vomiting as well as photophobia. She also has a less severe, second headache type described as ‘band-like’ in nature that is related to study position, involving the entire head, neck, and shoulders. Physical exam is negative for neurologic changes

DDX: Headache; Migraine/ALT DDX: Cluster Headache, tension headache
